We're excited to introduce the latest updates for bessa Kassa and bessa Kassa Manager. This release brings a series of important new features and optimizations to make your daily operations even more efficient.

Sub-Warehouses
With the expanded functionality of the Inventory Management module, you can now define multiple sub-warehouses under each branch warehouse. These sub-warehouses can be assigned to specific rooms or Sub-Terminals. The advantage: when items are booked in the assigned room or at the matching terminal, they are automatically deducted from the respective sub-warehouse. Inventory levels can now also be transferred directly and easily between the main branch warehouse and its associated sub-warehouses.
Canteen Integration
bessa Kassa is now fully prepared for our newest product, bessa Kantine. This lets you use the Kassa as the central base system for your canteen. Orders can be booked against a special, non-fiscalised payment method called Lohnverrechnung (payroll). This feature accurately models the individually configurable subsidies (for example, from the company or workers' council) managed via the canteen. The canteen is also directly connected to the POS system's inventory management, enabling quantity limits and precise real-time monitoring of remaining product quantities.
Performance Optimizations
We've made extensive performance optimizations to the order-entry screens. This delivers even faster, smoother navigation between screens and significantly speeds up item booking. The customer display has also been reworked and now offers fast, uninterrupted switching between different views for your customers — improving the customer experience.
