Which partner can access a customer account, and who works at a partner — two separate tasks for resellers and tax advisory firms.
Which case applies?
A request about a "new tax advisor" can mean two different things. Clarify first which one is meant:

Which firm may access the customer's account? |
Partner access — connect a firm to a customer account or disconnect it |
The customer or their reseller |
|
|
Who works at this partner? |
Staff — add a person to a firm or reseller, or remove them |
An administrator of the partner |
Rule of thumb: If the firm is already connected to the account and only a person is missing, it is a staff case. Nothing changes on the customer account; the firm's administrator invites the person.
How the two relate
The customer's consent applies to the partner, not to an individual. Every staff member of a partner therefore has access to all customer accounts connected to that partner — including staff who join later. There is no way to release individual accounts to individual staff members.
Both paths send the same invitation email. What the invited person does with it is described under Accept an Invitation.
What still goes through support
Not everything is self-service. bessa support handles some cases, for example when a person moves to another partner or a partner has no administrator left. Which cases these are and what the ticket must contain is listed under Special Cases for Partners and Staff.
