As a reseller, you connect your customer's tax advisor to their account yourself, without bessa support. You work in the customer's account under Partner access — the same screen your customer uses.
Prerequisites
-
Your reseller access is assigned to the customer's account. The account then appears in your list under Change Account.
-
Your customer has asked you to set up the access for them.
How to proceed
-
Switch to the customer's account via Change Account.
-
Open Partner access in the main menu.
-
Add or remove the tax advisor. The individual steps — search for a firm, invite a firm, confirm consent, remove access — are described in the Help under Partner Access.
For a change of tax advisor, add the new firm and then remove the old one.
Consent on behalf
When you add a tax advisor, bessa stores the consent as on behalf, with your name and the time. You thereby confirm that you are entitled to grant the access for your customer. Keep a record of your customer's request, for example by email.
Adding and removing appear in the customer account's Audit Log, with you as the acting person.
What you cannot change here
-
Your own connection as reseller appears in the list but cannot be removed.
-
The customer's own accounting staff — employees of the customer connected as their accounting — are not connected via Partner access. bessa support sets them up.
-
Staff of the firm are not added here. An administrator of the firm does that under Manage Staff.

|
Your reseller is not assigned to this account. |
Your reseller access is linked to the account but not assigned as its responsible reseller. Contact bessa support. |
|
An invitation cannot be created for this email address. |
The address belongs to an access that is not a tax advisor — such as a reseller or customer access — or to a deactivated access. bessa never moves an access automatically; see Special Cases for Partners and Staff. |
|
A firm with this name already exists. |
The firm is already on bessa. Search for it and select it instead of inviting it. |
