Overview: Version 5.1 of bessa Kassa brings significant improvements for your daily business operations. Key enhancements include expanded print settings that can be individually configured per article or product group, integration of new payment terminals, and optimized rounding calculations for more precise price displays.

Version 5.1.0 (Date: June 30, 2025)

New Features

  • Individual Print Settings per Article and Product Group: You can now specify which printers should be used for specific article types or product groups. This allows, for example, automatic routing of kitchen items to the kitchen printer and beverages to the bar printer.

  • VivaWallet Payment Terminal Integration: bessa Kassa now supports VivaWallet REST terminals for cashless payments. This expands your options when choosing your payment service provider.

  • Room-based Printer and Dispenser Settings: In businesses with multiple sales areas or rooms, you can now configure individual printers and dispensers for each room.

Improvements

  • Optimized User Interface: Selection views have been redesigned and now provide clearer visual feedback when selecting items. The sales point selection has also been improved.

  • Better Payment Method Recognition: Payment methods are now labeled with the respective platform name, making them easier to distinguish.

Bug Fixes

  • Permission Check for Shift Functions: The button for starting and ending a shift now correctly verifies the required user permissions.

  • Fiscal Module Processing for Negative Quantities: Data processing for the fiscal module (TSE) has been corrected for items with negative quantities.

  • Shift Closing for WPI Terminals: WPI terminals are now correctly excluded from automatic shift closing, as this function is not supported.
