What are templates?
Templates determine the appearance of your coupons. Each template contains a background image and optional settings such as a default text or a fixed value. If no template is created, the system uses the default Bessa design.
If a primary template is set but no active template is available, the primary template is used as the default template. If multiple active templates are available, a dropdown selection menu is displayed in the Web Shop, allowing the customer to choose the desired template.
Template Overview
The overview shows all existing templates. You can switch between two views:
Tile View (Default)
Each template is displayed as a card with a preview image. On each card you can see:

Primary — This template is used as the default for new coupons

Active — The template is visible in the Web Shop

Inactive — The template is not visible in the Web Shop

List View (sortable)
In the list view, you can change the order of templates via drag & drop. Simply drag a row to the desired position. The order determines the sequence in which templates are displayed in the Web Shop.

The template is created and can then be edited

Edit Template
On the detail page of a template, you can configure the following settings:

Translations
The text fields Display Name, Title, Customer Name, Message, and Legal Text can be translated into different languages (German, English, French). Use the language selector in the "Texts & Translations" section. The default language contains the texts that are displayed when no matching translation is available.
Preview
On the left side you can see a preview of the coupon. You can download it as a PDF to check how the finished coupon looks.
Delete Template
Click Delete and confirm the deletion. Deleted templates cannot be restored.
Note: Coupons already created with this template will remain intact.
