Hobex

Hobex provides its own ZVT interface for connecting network terminals, and its own TECS interface for the Via Android terminal series. For the SoftPOS connection of NFC payments, the dedicated POSit app is used.

Tip request with POSit 2

With terminal type POSit 2, the tip can be requested directly in the POSit app instead of being entered on the Sales Point. You activate this per Sales Point in bessa Manager using the Request tip option — see Configure Sales Point Card Terminal.

When the option is active, the POSit app asks for the tip using its own tip settings. The suggested amounts, percentages, and upper limits therefore come from Hobex, not from bessa Kassa. The app reports the entered tip back to the Sales Point, where it is assigned to the card payment.

The tip request on the terminal applies only to terminal type POSit 2. It is not available with the older POSit integration (terminal type POSit). There, continue to record the tip on the Sales Point — see Tips.
