With bonus cards in the bessa Manager, you set up digital loyalty programs for your customers. Customers collect stamps or points directly through the bessa white-label app — no physical cards, no paper waste.
bessa offers three card types, each suited to different businesses and audiences:

Note
Only one point card is allowed per company. Stamp cards and unlock cards can be created multiple times.
Create a bonus card

In the bessa Manager, open Customer Loyalty → Bonus Cards.

Click + New in the top right.

Choose the desired card type.

Fill in the form (see the sections below) and click Save.
After saving, the card is visible in your customers' white-label app, provided Card active is checked.
Basic data
Every bonus card has the following basic fields:

Name (required, max. 32 characters) — Internal name shown only in the Manager.

Title (max. 32 characters) — Displayed on the card in the app.

Subtitle (max. 70 characters) — Short description on the back of the card.

Description (max. 220 characters) — Detailed text for the card.

Location — Assign the card to a specific location or make it available across all locations.

User scope — Restrict the card to new users only or make it available for all users.

Card active — Only active cards are visible to customers.
Settings per card type
Stamp card

Number of stamps required — Define how many stamps must be collected for a reward.

Online collection type — Determine how stamps are credited online (via which order type).

Collect via invoice scan — Customers can earn stamps by scanning an invoice.
A stamp card must always have items assigned, otherwise no stamps will be credited.
Point card

Online collection type — Collection mechanism for online orders.

Redemption via point promotions — When point promotions are linked, they are shown here.
Note
With a point card you have two options for making points redeemable: either through redeemable items or through a point-redemption promotion. These two methods are mutually exclusive.

Items — Define which items activate the unlock card (see the Items section below).
Assign items
In the Items section you set which products from your assortment are linked to the bonus card. Use the search field to add items; the per-row context menu (⋮) lets you edit or remove items.
Stamps or points are collected for the assigned items. As a general rule of thumb, a stamp card must always have items assigned; a point card usually has no assigned items.
Customise card design
In the Design section you shape the card's appearance in the app:

Card colour & text colour — Choose colours that match your corporate design.

Card image — Upload an image at 1005 × 670 px (max. 1 MB, PNG or JPEG).

Stamp type (stamp card only) — Choose an icon motif for the stamp slots (e.g. lunch, coffee).

Redeem button (iOS) — Style of the redeem button in the iOS app.

Button colour (Android) — Colour of the button in the Android app.
Note
The live preview on the left side of the dialog shows the front and back of the card in real time as you make changes.
Set up push notifications
You can address customers who have installed your white-label app directly via push messages.

Open the Notifications section in the edit dialog of a bonus card.

Click + New notification.

Fill in the Title and Message fields.

Under Date, set the send time and optional repetition.

Optionally upload an image for the notification (2:1 format, PNG/JPEG).

Click Save.
Important
Push notifications are sent to all customers who have downloaded your white-label app. Plan the send time carefully.
Edit and delete a bonus card

Edit: in the list view, click the ⋮ menu of the card → Edit.

Delete: click ⋮ → Delete. Deleted cards cannot be restored.
Filter and search cards
Use the filter panel (left side) to filter bonus cards by type (stamp card, point card, unlock card) and status (active, scheduled, expired, inactive), or search by free text.
