Reports on the Sales Point

Operational and fiscally required reports can be generated directly on the Sales Point — from a period's turnover summary to the full data-entry protocol for a tax audit. Depending on the format, reports are printed on the receipt printer, displayed as a preview, or written as a file to a storage location (e.g. USB stick).

Detailed and longer-running analytics live in the bessa Manager under Reporting — with filters, extended date ranges, and export interfaces for accounting software (RZL, BMD, DATEV).

Open a report

Tap Reporting → Reports in the main menu. Reporting is a top-level menu entry next to Sales Point closing. Then choose:

  1. The desired period (today, yesterday, a month, custom, …).

  2. The report type (see table below).

  3. Preview for an on-screen display, Download to export or print.

These four reports are for day-to-day operations and are printed directly on the receipt printer or shown on screen first. They mirror the analytics of the same name in the bessa Manager but cover only the data of this Sales Point.

DEP — Data-entry protocol

The DEP (Datenerfassungsprotokoll) is the central RKSV compliance record in Austria. It contains every signed booking on the Sales Point and must be produced in a tax audit.

  • Choose the period of the audit (e.g. a fiscal year).

  • Choose Download and a storage location (e.g. USB stick).

  • A JSON file is written — hand it over to the audit or to your tax advisor.

E131

The E131 export is an open data export format including a data-set description for tax audits — typically requested outside Austria or by external auditors.

  • Choose period and Download with a storage location.

  • A ZIP file with data and description is written.

DEP and E131 are compliance-only exports. They are not routinely printed but written to a storage medium and handed over to the relevant party.
