Price levels allow you to set different prices and tax rates for individual products depending on the sales situation. While you define price levels globally in the settings, you configure at the product level which prices apply for each product in the different price levels.
Activating Price Levels for a Product
To assign one or more price levels to a product:
-
Open the bessa Kassa Manager
-
Navigate to Products in the main menu
-
Select the desired product from the list
-
Switch to the Price Levels tab
-
Click + Add Price Level
-
Select the desired price level from the dropdown list
-
Enter the price for this price level
-
Select the tax rate for this price level
-
Click Save
You can assign multiple price levels to a product by repeating the process.
Setting Price and Tax Rate
For each assigned price level, you can individually define:
-
Price: The specific selling price in this price level
-
Tax Rate: The tax rate to be applied (can differ from the standard tax rate)
Both values can be freely defined and override the product's default settings for the respective price level.
Using Default Price
If a price level is activated in the [global settings|Price-Levels] but no specific price configuration has been set for a particular product, the product's default price automatically applies.
Example:
-
Product "Cappuccino" has a default price of € 3.50
-
Price level "Happy Hour" is activated system-wide
-
No Happy Hour price level has been configured for "Cappuccino"
-
Result: During Happy Hour, the cappuccino also costs € 3.50
This allows you to use price levels selectively for specific products only, without having to adjust all products individually.
Removing a Price Level from a Product
To remove an assigned price level:
-
Open the product in the Price Levels tab
-
Click the trash icon at the end of the row of the price level to be removed
-
Confirm the deletion
-
Click Save
