Manager

The bessa Manager is the web-based administration interface for your bessa POS system. From the Manager, you can centrally control and configure your entire business – from products and locations to reports, revenue and user permissions. Whether you're a restaurateur, retailer, or tax advisor: the Manager gives you a complete overview of your operations at any time.

Accessing the Manager

Open https://manager.diekassa.app in your web browser and sign in with your username and password. The Manager is optimized for desktop and tablet use and does not require any installation – a modern browser is all you need.

Info: If you don't know your login credentials, please contact your administrator or use the Forgot password feature.

Feature Overview

The Manager is organized into the following sections:

Dashboard

The Dashboard is your start page after logging in. Here you can see the most important key figures of your business at a glance – including current revenue, open transactions, and a daily overview.

Reporting

Under Reporting, you'll find detailed analyses of revenue, register closings, and other business metrics. You can filter data by time period, export it, and prepare it for your accounting department or tax advisor.

Product Management

In Article Management, you create and maintain your products, product groups, and their layout on the POS interface. Configure price levels, product options, print groups, and course sorting – all centrally in one place.

Location Management

Location Management lets you manage your business locations, registers, rooms, tables, order monitors, and tap systems – ideal for multi-location businesses and franchise operations.

Master Data

Under Master Data, you manage core business information such as company details, tax types, payment methods, users, and their roles. These settings form the foundation for the correct operation of your POS system and compliance with legal requirements (e.g., RKSV in Austria).

Account Management

In Account Management, you can change your password or request a new one if needed.

Getting Started Tips

If you're using the Manager for the first time, we recommend the following order:

  1. Set up master data: First, review your company details, tax types, and payment methods under Master Data.

  2. Create users and roles: Add your employees under Users and assign appropriate permissions.

  3. Create articles: Maintain your articles and article groups in Article Management.

  4. Configure location: Set up your Locations, Sales Points, and Rooms & Tables.

  5. Check the dashboard: After your first sales, you'll see your revenue in real time on the Dashboard.

Tip: Tax advisors and accountants will find all export options for tax-compliant data transfers in the Reports section.
