Set Up Gastrotouch for bessa

If the customer has a Viertl Gastrotouch, several things need to be set up on the Sales Point to ensure smooth operation.

Setup for Bessa Ordering (Web, App, Tablet, Kiosk)

Install om2.exe
Have Station.cfg unlocked by Walter Elsässer for bessa/Treuepass
Set up Online Server on the Sales Point (usually 88)
Set up Pickup Table on the Sales Point (usually 888)
Create Online Paid (same as Mastercard / Visa) as a payment method on the Sales Point
Create Treuepass transaction type
Create a Tip article on the Sales Point – important: it must have a free price
Create a Discount article on the Sales Point – important: it must have a quantity of -1 and a free price (important: such an article must exist per tax rate, e.g. 10% Discount and 20% Discount)
Create one article per Delivery fee
If order information should be shown on the kitchen screen, create an Info article (like a side dish)
Create a Server Call article with price 0; used in tablet ordering systems
The Sales Point needs an IP address (statically assigned).

The following tools must be installed by bessa.

Bessa Uploader (synchronises the master data of the Sales Point with bessa)
Bessa Connector (controls the order workflow)

Setup for the Bessa KPI App

For the KPI app to receive the right data, the following must be done. If the customer also uses Bessa Ordering, you only need to install the bessa Uploader once.

Settings for bessa to Connect to the Sales Point

The following information must be provided for bessa Manager.

The fiscalisation ID or Sales Point ID
The path of the Gastrotouch Winkasse installation
The IP address of the Sales Point

Important!

After setting everything up, send the information to the bessa team so the connection can be established server-side.
