Scalefusion is used as the MDM software. With it, the tablets are locked down for all actions and only the tablet app can be used. The software also lets us update easily to new versions of the APK.
Instructions
Below are the instructions on how setup is done. It is important that you have already received the QR code for the setup from us. If we have not yet sent it to you, please send us an email.

The tablets must be in factory state, i.e. as if freshly unpacked

Start the tablet and tap the welcome screen 6 times; a QR code scanner then appears

Use the QR code scanner to scan the QR code provided

During the setup process, agree to everything that is asked. The QR code installs Scalefusion and locks the device, allowing access only to this app.

Once Scalefusion is installed, the Scalefusion app starts. You will see a checklist to work through; the setup process is only complete when all items are done.

Once the process is complete, the venue's tablet app is installed on the tablet and should also be started.
