Register a business premises
Before you issue receipts in Croatia, every business premises (poslovni prostor) must be registered with the tax authority (Porezna uprava). Registration is done in the ePorezna portal — not in bessa.
Who registers it?
Registration is performed by you or your tax advisor in the Porezna uprava's ePorezna portal. bessa does not register the business premises; bessa Sign only signs and transmits the resulting receipts afterwards.
Which data is submitted?
Per business premises, the following is submitted in particular:
-
The company OIB
-
The business-premises label (oznaka poslovnog prostora) — it must match the code used in the receipt numbers
-
The address (from the official spatial-units register)
-
The type of premises and activity (vrsta djelatnosti)
-
The operating hours and days
-
The start date of operation (optionally a closing date)
The business-premises label registered in ePorezna must match the label stored in bessa — otherwise the receipt numbers diverge from the registration and fiscalisation fails.
Before the first receipt
-
Register the business premises in the ePorezna portal.
-
Store each user's OIB (OIB operatera) in the master data.
-
Activate bessa Sign with the company OIB.
After that, every receipt is fiscalised automatically in real time — see Receipt fiscalisation and transmission.
