Park an Order

Sometimes an order is not ready to close — the guest is still deciding or waiting for a second person. At the same time, the next person wants to be served. For this situation you can briefly park the active order and start a new one. You can come back to the parked order at any time.

Park the current order

Tap the order label in the header bar (e.g. "Order 01"). In the menu that opens, choose New order.

A second order ("Order 02") appears and is immediately ready for editing. You can park as many orders simultaneously as you need.

Switch between parked orders

Tap the header bar again. The menu lists every currently open order — the active one is marked. Tap another order to continue editing there.

You can switch back and forth any number of times without losing data.

Discard one parked order

While a specific order is active, the trash icon in the top right deletes just that order. Other parked orders remain untouched.

Parking is temporary. Parked orders only live within the running app session. If the Sales Point app is closed, restarted, or the device is rebooted, all parked orders are lost. To keep an order open for a guest beyond the session, use Customer tabs or post to a table.
