For articles with a product number you can print simple labels with the article name and a barcode – at the Sales Point directly on a label printer, or in the bessa Manager as a PDF.
Label Printing at the Sales Point
You find the printer symbol or Print label

next to every article in the warehouse view, in batch bookings and in their review,

in the title bar of an article's booking dialog,

in the article management of the Sales Point.
The following settings are saved per printer for the next use:

Printer
The available printers are detected automatically. For a list of supported printers, see the Label Printers article. -
Template
Article & EAN or EAN & Article – sets the order of article name and barcode. -
Height/Width
Enter the dimensions of the label. Please refer to the printer manual for the unit (millimetres, pixels, …), as this varies by manufacturer. -
Horizontal/Vertical margin
Specify the respective margin of the label to position the content accordingly.
The number of Copies is prefilled: from a booking with the booked quantity – after a delivery of 12 bottles that means 12 labels – otherwise with the current stock level. Adjust it if needed.
Label Printing in the Manager

Open the article's 3-dot menu – in the warehouse view (Manage → Warehouses) or in the article list.

Choose Print label.

Select the barcode Format: EAN-13 (default), EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 128, GS1-128 or PZN (Pharmacy Central Number). The Manager remembers your choice.

Click Print.
You receive a PDF file <product number>_<name>.pdf, which you print via the driver of your label printer. For details, see the Label Printers article.
If the article has no product number, No product number appears. Add the product number in the article and print again. The product number must match the selected format.
