Location Management

Location Management is the central module in bessa Manager for configuring your point-of-sale infrastructure. Here you manage locations, Sales Points, rooms, tables, order monitors and dispensers for your business – from a single Sales Point to a multi-location setup with multiple branches.

Overview

In Location Management in bessa Manager, you configure the physical and logical structure of your business. The clear breakdown enables efficient management of all devices and areas, which are automatically synchronised with all connected bessa Kassa devices.

Location Management is divided into the following sections:


Locations

Manage multiple branches or business sites centrally in one place. Each location can have its own Sales Points, rooms and settings. Location Management allows you to keep an overview of all branches and create cross-location reports.

Sales Points

The heart of your Location Management. Here you manage all bessa Kassa devices linked to your account. For each Sales Point, you can configure individual settings – from the order screen and card terminal integration to user permissions. Via remote control you have access to your Sales Points at any time, even when you're not on site.

Rooms & Tables

Structure your business into logical areas and manage your tables. Rooms represent different zones of your venue – such as the dining room, terrace, bar or private dining area. Assign the corresponding tables to each room and design a visual floor plan via drag-and-drop. A well-structured floor plan makes orientation easier for your service staff and speeds up the order process.

Order Monitors

Configure kitchen monitors, bar monitors and serving stations for an efficient workflow. Order monitors are virtual profiles that let you specify which orders and article groups are shown on which screen. This way every station sees exactly the information that is relevant to it – from the kitchen and bar to the pickup counter.

Dispensers

Manage your dispensers and connect them to your point-of-sale system. Dispenser management enables automatic recording of beverage dispensing and direct transfer to the Sales Point. Ideal for businesses with tap systems that need full documentation of dispensing.

Tips for Location Management

  • Plan the room structure: Before creating rooms, plan a sensible breakdown that matches your actual workflow.

  • Table numbering: Use a logical and consistent numbering scheme for better clarity.

  • Test monitor profiles: Try out the order monitor settings directly on the device to find the optimal display.

  • Review Sales Point settings: Regularly check the individual settings of your Sales Points, especially after updates.
