This article describes how to add nutrition facts to articles in bessa Manager. Nutrition facts are displayed in the kiosk app, web shop and mobile app on the article details screen.
Why Add Nutrition Facts?
Adding nutrition facts to your articles offers several benefits:

Helps customers with dietary restrictions or specific nutritional goals

Provides transparency about ingredients and energy content

Required by some regulations for prepackaged food in certain regions
How to Add Nutrition Facts

Open bessa Manager and navigate to Articles

Select the article for which you want to add nutrition facts

Switch to the Nutrition Facts tab

Enter the values per 100g (or per unit) for each nutrient: energy (kJ / kcal), fat (total / saturated), carbohydrates (total / sugars), protein, and salt

Optionally add allergen information

Click Save
Display in Customer-Facing Apps
The nutrition facts are automatically shown in the article detail view in:

The kiosk app
-
The web shop
-
The mobile app
Customers can tap or click on an article to see the full nutrition information.
Tips
-
Use values per 100g for solid foods and per 100ml for beverages

Be consistent with units across all articles
-
Update values whenever a recipe changes
