What Are Unmapped Articles?
When an order arrives via a third-party provider and an article name cannot be mapped automatically to a bessa article, it is stored as "unmapped". The list shows all unmapped articles from the last 7 days.
Table Overview
For each unmapped article you see:
|
Column |

Map an Article
Via Suggestions (Recommended)
The system analyses the similarity between the external article name and your bessa articles. When matching articles are found, they appear as coloured buttons directly in the row. The buttons show the article name and the PLU number.
-
Hover over a suggestion button to see the full name, the PLU and the similarity score
-
Click the matching suggestion
-
The mapping is created immediately for the respective service and the article disappears from the list
Search Manually
If no suggestion fits, or no suggestions are shown:
-
Click the magnifying glass icon
-
A dialog opens that shows for which external article you are looking for a mapping
-
At the top of the dialog, suggestions with price and similarity score are shown first
-
Below, you can use the search field to browse your bessa articles – each article shows name, PLU and price
-
Click the desired article to create the mapping
Filter by Service
Using the "Filter Service" dropdown at the top of the page, you can filter unmapped articles by third-party provider (e.g. only show Lieferando or only Wolt). Choose "All Services" to display all unmapped articles.
Important: Mappings always apply per service. If you, for example, map "Ketchup" for Lieferando, the article remains visible as unmapped for Wolt and must be mapped there separately.
Notes
-
When switching venues, the data is automatically reloaded.
-
Already-mapped articles are automatically filtered from the list, even if the third-party provider still reports them as unmapped.
-
Unmapped articles older than 7 days are no longer shown.
-
As soon as an article is mapped, it is automatically recognised on future orders.
