Waiter Key
A waiter key is a personal key, usually a magnetic key, that a Waiter uses to sign in at the Sales Point. It is inserted into a waiter lock that is connected to the Sales Point device via USB and passes the key number on to the Sales Point. In bessa Manager, this number is stored with the User in the Digital key field.
When the waiter inserts the key, they are signed in; when they remove it, the Sales Point locks. Every order ends up with the right employee without anyone typing a PIN code. The same field also holds the number of an NFC card.
