Discount Group
A Discount Group (DE: Rabattgruppe) is a reusable Discount defined centrally in the bessa Manager and then assigned to many customers — for example "Regulars 10%" or "Staff 20%". A discount group carries either a percentage or a fixed amount; if both are stored, the percentage applies.
When a customer is assigned a discount group, it replaces that customer's individual standard discount and is applied automatically as soon as the customer is linked to an Order. Discount groups are maintained exclusively in the bessa Manager; at the Sales Point they can only be selected. Applying them at the Sales Point requires bessa Kassa 6.1 or newer.
