Quick Connect
Quick Connect (DE: Schnellanmeldung) is signing a Sales Point device in by scanning a QR code — with no username and password to type. The QR code carries an encrypted sign-in token, valid for 90 seconds, plus the Sales Point the device is to be bound to. The feature is available from bessa Kassa 6.0.
Who generates the code

The Main Sales Point under Settings > Sub-Terminals — for a Sub-Terminal that is not yet bound. The user signed in is the one signed in on the Main Sales Point.

The bessa Manager — for any Sales Point, including a Main Sales Point without a device. The user signed in is the target Sales Point's default user, not the Manager user who generated the code.
Quick Connect versus automatic sign-in
Automatic sign-in via the hardware ID (MDM devices such as Sunmi, iMin or Orderman) signs a device in by itself on every app start and needs no QR code. Quick Connect, by contrast, is a one-off action with a short-lived code that either commissions a device for the first time or switches the signed-in user.
