In the Display tab of bessa Manager, you configure the appearance and behaviour of your Sales Point. Here you specify which order screen is displayed at start, how prices are displayed, which consumption types are available, and much more.
Overview
In the Display tab, you configure key aspects of your Sales Point:

Order screen: Start screen at the beginning of ordering

Room: Initial room when the Sales Point starts

Screen saver: Display during inactivity (logo, image, video)

Price display: Gross or net

Digital invoice: QR code instead of automatic printing

Generate pickup number: Running pickup number on invoice and order ticket for counter orders

Display Settings
Generate pickup number
With the Generate pickup number checkbox, the Sales Point gives every order paid directly at the counter a pickup number such as KA00042. The number appears on the invoice in the Pickup block, in large print on the order ticket and on the order monitor. It is assigned consecutively and not reset daily; table and guest room orders get no pickup number.
For a Sub-Terminal, you decide whether it follows the Main Sales Point's setting or decides for itself. Details in Pickup number on the receipt.
Rebook to room without check-in
When charging to a room, the Sales Point normally only offers rooms with a current booking. If your business does not record check-ins, e.g. a hotel that bills overnight stays outside the Sales Point and has no hotel software connected, a table cannot be rebooked to any room. With the Rebook to room without check-in selection, the Sales Point also offers all other rooms of the location:

Enabled — Below the checked-in rooms, the room selection also shows the rooms without check-in.

Disabled — Only checked-in rooms can be chosen. This is the default.
A Sub-Terminal follows the Main Sales Point's value by default; the option shows in brackets which value currently applies, e.g. "currently: Enabled". If you choose Enabled or Disabled on the Sub-Terminal, that value applies instead of the Main Sales Point's.
